Control panel ICON

If I select the control panel from START - CONTROL PANEL, I get another box
appear called 'Intel(R) PROset' and reads Resources are not available. If I
select OK then I manage to get the Control panel functions. This is really
annoying and never used to happen. What am I missing?

It's caused by the prapplet.cpl applet, look for it in the
Windows\System32 folder and delete it or rename it to something like
prapplet.bad. This will prevent the applet from loading and the error
should go away.
