Contour map from Pivot table

Mick Turner

hello,

I have the following pivot table and I have drawn a contour map from it:

Sum of Icorr X
Y 0 0.3 0.6 0.9 Grand Total
0 0.321223837 0.664355873 0.384612423 13.29766626 14.66785839
0.3 11.40120329 12.21697598 0.764293003 10.43582577 34.81829805
0.6 0.241368997 11.30960463 0.691588135 0.18514053 12.42770229
Grand Total 11.96379613 24.19093648 1.84049356 23.91863256 61.91385873

The contour chart automatically creates the legend and the values
representing different colours in the chart are automatically set. E.g.
0-5, 5-10, 10-15.

What I would like is manually set the limits for different colours, e.g.
0-1, 1-5, 5-15, >15.

Can this be done in Excel with contour chart (or any other charts)?

Yours,

Mike

Hi Mick Turner,

The contour intervals asre based on the y-Axis major unit. You can change
this by double-clicking the y-Axis, select the Scale tab and changing the
major unit.

You can only set equal intervals, ie if the Scale minimum is zero and major
unit is 5, then the contour intervals are 0-5, 5-10, 10-15 etc
