I'm using Outlook 2003 on a new personal PC (i.e. not networked). Transfered
my old Outlook.pst file from old PC. My old contacts data is available and
visible as "Contacts" in "Personal Folders". When I try to address new email
and click on "To..." I get an empty Personal Address Book. I have gone into
the properties of the Contacts folder to select it as a e-mail address book
(under "Outlook Address Book" tab) but it is greyed out. How do I tell
Outlook to use this Contacts folder as the email address book?
Bonus Questions: When I click on Mail, I get the folder listing in the left
panel of the screen. I note there are two "Personal Folders" folders which
have identical content but different icons; one has what looks like an
outlook today icon the other is a plain folder icon. Why is this so? Also,
the listings only show mail folders and not other sub-folders that I know are
in there e.g. the Contacts folders. In the previous version of Outlook I
could get a complete folder listing. Can this be done in 2003?
