In the Tools>Options>ContactOptions I have set the preference to First
Last
and also in the Tools>Account Settings>AddressBooks I have set the
preference to First Last (John Smith).
Still My outlook files all contacts as Last, First unless if I go and
specifically change each one.
When I enter a new contact it files it as Last, First by default.
Please let me know if there is anything that I am missing or if something
can be done to correct this issue.
I am using MS Office professional Plus 2007.
I have posted the screen shots as asked by you in response to another
post.

I have tried all of the solution center suggestions but my contacts still
display last name then first name. I have changed the settings in the

books a well as the individula contacts but that does not fix it.
Is it showing this in the Address book or on the actual contacts?

setting in Outlook only applies to new contacts. To change existing
contacts
you need to do it individually or using VBA - see

I had to restore the contacts after a computer crash and the new contacts

have added seem to be displaying correctly. I also noticed that my
recovered
calendar appointments do not cause the date to be bold in the preview
window.
where it shows the three month preview but newly added calendar items do.
IS
there some cache that needs to be cleared?
