Contacts ... customising views et al

T

Tx2

Is there any way to customise the 'contacts' view, and contacts details?

I would like to be able to 'filter' the initial view to display either
family or friends, business contacts, or both

Subsequently, when clicking on a contact, the window that appears for
that person has loads of entries i don't need, such as certificates,
nickname, spouses name et al.

Are all these choices 'fixed' in Outlook, or can i customise the layout
to my own needs?

I use Outlook 2002 under XP Pro

To filter the view, View | Current View | Customize Current View | Filter. You might want to create separate named views, each with a different filter.
