Connection to server has failed

Just signed up for windows live mail. When I try to send an e-mail, two
failed messages come up.
Connection to server has failed. Subject "catalog request", Account:'AOL',
Server:'AOL' Protocol:SMTP, Port:25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10060,
Error Number: 0x800CCCOE

Connection to server has failed. Account: 'AOL', Server:'AOL', Protocol:
POP3, Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10060, Error Number:
0x800CCCOE

Can anyone help me. Thanks
