Connection problems

I recently downloaded the Windows Mail message system and wanted to use my
yahoo email account. I did all the POP3 incoming and outgoing server
information for Yahoo and when it was all said and done, I had connection
problems.

I'm running my internet connection from a cable modem and wireless router.

Error message recieved:
Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for
this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of
inactivity. Account: 'plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com', Server:
'plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 465, Secure(SSL): Yes,
Error Number: 0x800CCC0F

Do you have a Yahoo! Mail Plus account or free Yahoo! Mail account?

The Plus account costs money. The free account doesn't allow POP access.

Get a Gmail, Hotmail or Live account. They're free and allow POP access.
