connecting win 98 clients to win 2000 server

How do i connect windows 98 clients to windows 2000 server
domain for authentication.Iam using mix mode AD with only
one DC and only one server on my network.....let me know
how can i log on to network from my 98 clients to 2000
server

On the Win98 machines set Microsoft Client for Networking to log on to an NT
domain. I think you use only the NetBios name for the domain here. Make
sure your Win 98 machine is configured with your DC's IP address for DNS.
Also, the Win2k Server CD contains a file called dsclient which should be
installed on the Win98 machine - this updates the MS Network client to allow
more AD functionality. You should then be able to log on with a domain user
account.

Get WINS installed on the server. Check that DHCP-server has got options
003, 006, 015, 044 and 046 (0x8) set in Scope-options.
