connecting TV to PC

senthilS

I am using a celeron AMD Laptop and a Intel Desktop.

I am planning to connect my PC to TV and have best resolution on my TV,
I tried s-video cable but the quality is not good, is there any better
way to get the best possible resolution from my PC to TV.

Thanks all

s vid sometimes isnt any good but its pretty much wiziwig (what you see is
what you get.)

Your monitor must be pretty OLD or damaged if the TV looks better.

If you are talking about a normal TV (not HD), then the resolution of the
screen is something less than 640 X 480. Modern computer displays look
terrible at that resolution.

You can set up the TV as a second monitor, if your computer has a dual
monitor capable video card. (or two video cards)

But really, it's not worth the effort. You won't get good display
resolution out of a TV, for computer use. -Dave

The S-video connection IS the highest quality connection. What video card
does your PC use?

No. CRT Televisions are very poor quality compared to a PC monitor. The
only real solution is to get a Plasma/TFT television.
