Connecting Mobile to PC

I have a nokia 6610i mobile with Data cable.I tried to connect my
mobile(6610i) to my PC(Windows XP -Service pack1)
I As per Nokia's instruction I installed PC suite 6.6 software and DKU-Cable
5.0 latest.And I connected my Data cable to USB port and the other side to my
mobile.
Windows XP Found new hardware "USB-Serial controller" messge has come.Then
it automatically goes to the installation section "Welcome to found new
hardware wizard".I selected "install the software automatically".It was
searching for sometime after that it shows "Can Not install this hardware"
,"Windows can not find the necessary software for this hardware" message has
come.And if I opened my Nokia-PC suite "No Phone Connected" message is
coming.Can anyone please help me how to install this bloody "USB-Serial
Controller".I am trying to install this for last 2 weeks.Plz help me.....

It might be the order in which you installed the software. You might get a
better answer from alt.cellular.nokia
