confused

Hello

I have two PCs one is a Windows 2000 box the other is a
Windows 98 box.

I am trying to get the Windows 98 box to connect to the
Windows 2000 box. When I try to connect I get the
following a \\pcname\IPC$ error. I check the MS data base
and the only document that I found is 262916.

I tired to implement what fix but since my PCs belong to a
workgroup and not a domain, the service identified in the
document will not work. I have created an Id on the W2K
box that has the same name as the W9x box, but I still get
the \\pcname\IPC$ error.

What do I do?
