Shared Printers Windows 2000 Professional

Windows 98 computers get the following response when they
attempt to connect to a shared printer on a Windows 2000
Professional computer: \\computername\IPC$ and they are
unable to connect.

they have to have rights to the printer to be able to
connect to it??? do they have rights???

You have to activate the Guest-account on the 2000-machine.

Rightclick My Computer

Handle...

Users and Accounts.

Then under the Usermap you have all users.

Activate the Guest-account by rightclick it
and then uncheck Inactive.
