configuration problems

I am having a lot of problems with XP. I load my software, get everything
configured, then when i reboot, i get error messages that
\windows\system\config\system or software or software.log is corrupt and
wants me to start all over by loading the install cd and 'r' for repair.
This seems to be a cycle here, and i'm really getting frustrated having to
reload all the time. Can someone tell me what is happening here and how to
fix this problem.

Thanks, i appreciate any help i can get.

Maxine, you have something corrupting your system files and registry.
Have to know more about your
computer system to help.

Rich,

Thanks for your help. My brother suggested deleting the partitions on my
drive and reinstalling everything. So far, so good. I may of had some sort
of corruption in the MBR. Not only was i loosing critical system data, but
one of the partitions would become unreadable.
