COMPUTER DOESN'T FINISH BOOTING

When i turn on my computer, i get the black Microsoft screen while loading
windows, then i get the mouse pointer then everything freezes and it doesn't
load windows or i don't see the welcome screen. Can anyone tell me what is
going on? Is there some sort of virus going around that would stop windows
from loading?

Can you get into Safe Mode? You may need to hit the F8 or F11 key or
possibly the Delete key, it varies with different makers. It could very
well be a virus or worm, but I haven't heard of one lately that keeps
Windows from booting.
