Just any advice would be great on this...
I recently got bombarded with a TON of viruses, trogans, adware, YOU NAME
IT! I have AdAware, Norton, & Spybot and ran them all and it seemed to
always find something that one of the other programs missed. So as a
precaution I also downloaded Windows Defender and a trial version of Webroot
Spy Sweeper and found one nagging problem to be "Adware-Qoologic" but I
believe The Spy Sweeper got rid of that.
Now I'm at the problem where I used to have Google as my default search
engine in every way (search button, address bar) and now it does nothing. I
tried readding the registries for the Google Search Engine but it states that
running processes are not allowing it.
So do I still have issues going on here that I missed or am I doomed for a
reboot?
Thanks for any advice.

When this happened to me I simply restored a previous backup and I was good to go.
