Computer name

When I change the Computer Name, I was asked to enter the user name and
password. As I have one domain account and local user account and both are
members of administrators group, which one do I need to enter? I tried both
without success. What sort of things I have looked at for such changes?

such changes?

If you are trying to change the actual computer (machine) name
(System>Computer Name) on a domain member workstation, you will need to
log onto the machine as a Local Administrator.
