Computer freezes when trying to change to Plus! Themes

Hi,

I tried posting on the Microsoft Plus newsgroup but got no response so I
figured I would try my question here.

I have Windows XP SP2 and lately when I try to change to a Plus! Theme or
even to the Windows XP theme the
whole computer freezes. Even doing Ctrl-Alt-Del doesn't work. I have to
shut the computer off with the switch and then turn it back on.

Anyone know what the problem is?
