computer crashing,blue screen appears.Please Help

i hope some one can help me.I have been having problems with my laptop for
quite a while now.I find that when i turn my laptop on it can take up to 3
times for it to boot up.It has the black screen come up and it lets me choose
between safe mode etc.My laptop loads perfectly in safe mode but takes agaes
in normal mode.I also found when i had used safe mode and then restarted my
computer it started ok, but i dont know why it is doing this.My computer then
when i am on it will crash and it will either restart and a blue screen will
come up saying physical dump memory or it will crash but it doesnt restart it
comes up with a error saying that the ati mobility radeon 7000 1gb has
stopped responding and my graphics then are on 16 bit and the graphics are
awful so i have to restart my computer and then the screen is ok but it
doesnt last for long.I hope some one can help me.thank you in advance to any
one who replys.

Hi alis,
The blue screen that appears is "Blue Screen of Death". This generally
appears if there is any h/w issue with the machine. Do one thing, next time
wen this blue screen appears note that particular error address at the end of
the blue screen. this is a unique code for a partiluar problme. now go to
microsoft site and search for that code. it would surely help u in getting
close to the cause of problem
