Computer crash, reinstallation error

I am trying to re-install Office 2000 following crash and
format of disk. It installs but then gives error
1919:Error configuring ODBC data source: MS Access
database ODBC error 6: Component not found in registry.
Any idea what that means and how to fix it? Thanks
