completing email address when typing it in

I just purchased a new laptop that runs on Vista (hate it!). I want the email
address I type to complete itself. Sometimes this works but most doesn't.
I've gone to Options and checked the box that says to complete the email
address. Does anyone have a clue as to why this keeps happening? And does
anyone know if there's any way (besides paying) that I can switch to Outlook
Express where I never had this problem?

Windows Mail appears to have rushed out the door with Vista.
You might try the newer Windows Live Mail which was updated this week.

The only way to use OE is to install XP, either replacing Vista, or
installing it in a virtual PC.

Outlook Express won't run on Vista.
Windows Mail only remembers the last 29 addresses you've
sent mail to. You may like Windows Live Mail better. It has
a much better auto-complete and more features:
