Compaq c3-1000 all in one

I have a Compaq C3-1000 Print Scan Copy, you know, one of thoes
3-in-one deals. Its basically a rebaged Lexemark, but with
propriatary drivers. I recently have gone from a peer to peer LAN to
a Server based LAN in my house. I have 4 printers running off of the
server and all the Clients can print to any printer (including the
C3-1000). What I was wondering is there any to share the Scanner? It
dosn't list in Win2k's Imaging Devices, annd if I browse for a scanner
on the network from the clients, I can't see it.

I'd like to be able to scan documents directly to one of the clients,
and the only way I can do it now is to press the Scan button on the
C3-1000, where it dumps the results into a shared folder.

Suggestions? Can I create a virtual port somehow?

TIA

Unless it's a specific networkable scanner, you cannot share a scanner over
a network. There are some nice ones, Epson make a few and they start at
about %3000.
