Cntinuous ink systems

As I received no replies to my recent request for a recommendation for a
continuous ink supply system for the Canon IP 4200, should I assume that
these CIS systems are not to be recommended ?

I have a CIS on my Epson, unknown brand as well as to which inks they
use. (all came in a plain white box) there cheap to run. One thing I
did before buying one was to checkout the sites which sold them and the
feedback, how problems were handled. I myself have had no problems with
using one, or ink blockages, but I did disconnect the excess ink
tube/pad and run it into an external bottle. For Epson's there is some
software to reset the counters which helps.

I am unfamiliar with Canon printer CIS but have seen them for sale.

Thanks Rob,
At least someone is using a CIS ! I was beginning to think these were
Chinese/Hong Kong scams. The ones advertised for the Canon IP4200 appear to
use dye based inks for all the carts , which I'm sure is wrong, and of
course there's no way of resetting the counters.
