When XP Embedded is made in English, cmd.exe cannot be started.
The error of [The application failed to initialize properly(0xc0000142) and
Click on OK to terminate the application] is displayed when starting.
Dos Windows on Windows Support Compornent is put.

Did you happen to include "Fonts: Chinese (Traditional) bitmap & TrueType fonts" and "Fonts: Chinese (Traditional) font substitutes"
components to your image configuration?

If you did, please remove those, re-build and test the image on your target again.

Sorry, can't be of more help here without knowing what components are in your image.

I can only recommend you to take a deep look at the FBALog.txt and SetupApi.log on your target and see if anything suspicious is
there.

Because the initialization of Regional and Language Options is changed only
in putting order, it seems that the putting order is seen somewhere for the
MUI relation.
