Clicking link in OE opens blank page.

When I click on a link in OE all I get is a blank page.
if I then click the 'home page' button on that window my
homepage in IE will load up. I can then click on the
link in OE and it loads up in to the, now populated, IE.

I get the same effect with searching in Google. If I
click on a search result all I get is a blank window.

I'm using XP.

Installing the latest Cumulative Patch for IE (Q832894) may solve the
problem as a side-effect. Check in at Windows Update.
