Clicking any folder in Explorer causes remote connection dialog box to pop up

Whenever I have Explorer open and click on any folder, a
remote connection dialog box pops up. This is extremely
annoying because I have to close the box each & every time
I select a folder.

Anyone know how to turn this behavior off or what might
have caused it?

Scan with current antivirus using updated definitions. Remove spyware
with Spybot Search & Destroy (www.security.kolla.de) and Ad-aware
(www.lavasoftusa.com). It is useful to scan for viruses and malware in
Safe Mode. Does that take care of it?
