Clear Auto Complete

In my IE6 when I do Tools-Internet Options-Content-Auto
Complete-Clear Forms-OK the hourglass stays in place and
nothing happens. When I do ctrl-alt-del it shows Not
Responding. Then I End Task and close it all out. Auto
Complete-Clear Forms has been working fine until a couple
weeks ago when this started. I would greatly appreciate
any ideas anyone would care to offer about why this is
happening and what may be done to correct it. Thanks, K.

K,
Try this:
With no programs open,
Run REGEDIT and make your way to this key:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\IntelliForms\SPW]
Export that key (Registry> Export.) If you you wish to undo the change,
doubleclicking on that REG file will restore the original registry key.
Then delete the SPW key.
Restart the computer.
