Clean-up files on win2000

Besides the usual IE cache and temp directories, are there
any backup or unneeded files on windows 200 that can be
deleted? I've filled up 1.9GB with only windows and
Norton Security, Netscape, ICQ and few smaller utilities.
I have Office installed, but on another disk. The winnt
directory is almost a GB in itself. For example there is
a winnt/Driver Cache/i386/Driver.Cab file in I386
directory. It's 50 MB. It seems like that might be a
convenience that I would not need since I have a backup.
Another 15mb in the sp3 and sp4.cab files. I would think
that once they are installed the cab could be deleted.
Can all the .cab files deleted without causing problems.
Are they used to determine which files are installed? I
would think the system catalog would determine that. How
about the winnt/ServicePackFiles/ directory? Or at least
the .zip files in there? Thanks.. No Guessing here
please...) For obvious reasons.. Frank

Don't touch the files in that folder or you'll rue it. You listed nothing that I would touch to make more room.
