Choice disappeared from menu!

One of the choices on the Insert menu is "Symbol." I've used this choice
many times. But yesterday it disappeared! What did I do and how can I get
this choice back? I'm using MS Word 2003.

Select Tools > Customize from the Menu.

While the dialog is open, right click on Insert on the Menu and select
Reset. Then close the Dialog.
