It sounds like you may running Zone Alarm 5. If yes it is a known
problem -see Zone Alarm forums for more details. A fix is awaited.
A workaround is to uninstall Zone Alarm, run chkdsk and reinstall Zone
Alarm. Some users have opted to revert to a version of Zone Alarm earlier
than 5 until a fix is available.
