Chess titans preistalled on a hp pavilion 9000 pc. Only the pc can make a
move. My team is frozen (new start didn't help).
At first time use, got message 3d setup failed. But game started. Unable to
activate any 3d opions.
Can"t find any options to repair game. Tried restarting several times. Can't
find any web help sights pertaining to the problem.

Does anyone have any problem solving tips?

Is the game in 2D or 3D mode now?

Hey Paul,
Thanks for the link to your blog, but I didn't ask for it. Please don't do
this again or i"ll have to mention it to Microsoft.
Thanks

Well I was actually asking a question, you seemed to of missed that bit.
With you mentioning it opened a window saying that 3D rendering had failed
and that it was falling back to 2D rendering.

If the display was still stuck in showing the 3D view and had failed to
redraw the board, then of course your pieces wouldn't respond. This would
probably be caused by a video driver being faulty, and sometimes it would
take a reboot to clear the image from the video card's memory.

If it was in 2D mode it would be useful to know if it responding to any
mouse input. Normally a square box would follow the mouse around the board.
Does this work? Can you actually click on the pieces and have the available
moves show up.

Without know exactly what is going on, and what parts work and don't work,
any advice would be stabs in the dark.

Mighty Dus

Hmm I have a some how similar problem.

Only the computer can cheat )

The chess titan is cheating ALOT out of maby 15 games is has been cheating
at least 10 times by making moves that can't happen in a chess game....

so I don't know if it relly is a problem for you not to be able to move,
when you fix your problem the computer will cheat anyway )

it's still easy to beat it thoug... (well in the easy level games)
