Check recipients name in Contacts before LDAP

At my university we have an LPAD server with addresses to all employees and
students. So I have given the address to this server to Outlook using
Tools / Options / Mail setup / E-mail Accounts / Directories

My problem since installing Outlook 2003 that when I send a mail, Outlook
starts resolving the address to the recipient by checking this LPAD server
instead of starting in my Contact list.

Is there a way of setting the order in which this is done? I want Outlook to
start checking if the recipient is in my Contact list. If it is not found
there it should proceed to the LDAP server.
