Chart manipulation during a presentation

I am trying to create an interactive chart in Powerpoint. I have a radar
chart with 3 data points, I would like to be able to use some kind of control
on the slide during a presentation to change a data point. Basically I want
to show if one of the data points change what will happen to the other two.
If someone could point me in the right direction is would be appreciated.

Use custom animations on the graphics for your data points. You can add
animations that make the iriginal graphics disappear and others appear,
simulating the change. Or you could even draw custom paths and make the
points move from their original position to a new one.

I would add an object animation to the chart. Here's how.

Right-click the chart, choose Custom Animation.

Add Effect | Object Actions | Open. (I think Edit will actually work the
same in this case.)

When you click the mouse, the chart will open in MSGraph.

If you want the chart to open when you click it, then make this a trigger
animation instead of a regular "on mouse click" animation. Here's info on
triggers to get you started: http://www.echosvoice.com/triggers.htm
