Is there a way to copy character map symbols to the format menu in MS Excel.
I would like to format a cell that would automaticly put a degree sign in the
cell after I put in a number.

Thanks,

Charlie

You might want to ask in an Excel newsgroup. Here is a list of MS
public newsgroups: http://aumha.org/nntp.htm

Alt+0176 = °

Hold down the Alt key, then type 0176 on the Numeric keypad.

Hi,

In the format dialog, click on custom. Select the 0 option, then place the
cursor after the zero and hit alt+0176 to get the degree sign. Click ok to
save the format.
