Hi!

I've installed an ATI AIW 9800 Pro and tried to watch Dutch TV-channels. I
used Guide Plus, this is a TV scheduling application delivered in the ATI
package.

No luck, this will only work in USA and Canada!

What do I have to do to make this work?

Gert-Jan

PS: Great card!!

You could use TVTV (http://www.tvtv.de or http://www.tvtv.co.uk) but they
only list the three major public channels. There is no www.tvtv.nl...
Personally I'm experimenting with XMLTV
(http://membled.com/work/apps/xmltv/). There are dutch TV listings available
in XML format, also there are grabbers which convert information from
http://www.tvgids.nl to a XMLTV listing. It requires some
computer/programming experience to get things running. It's a shame the ATI
MMC doesn't support XMLTV yet... So it requires additional software to build
your own PVR solution (like MyHTPC (http://myhtpc.net/) for example).

Use other software, written for the dutch people. Or await untill a
genius has set up a website and a plugin for the MMC driver to get
"dutch"

UltimateGuide supports XMLTV and can work with MMC, however the release
notes say "North America"--I'm not sure why that limitation or if it is
real.

MyHTPC can interface with XMLTV and with MMC, but whether it can make the
twain meet I'm not sure.
