Chaning default folder associated with a program - search, save, o

Hi,

Does anyone know how to change the default folder that a program uses when
searching/saving/opening a file? Specifically, I'm using ITunes, and moved
my music files to another drive. When Itunes asks me to manually locate the
files, it always defaults to the c:/my music folder, and it's a burdensome
process to always have to manually search for the folders I'm looking for
buried on another drive. I tried changing the settings in Itunes, but that
isn't possible. I've come across this problem with a number of programs in
Windows that search for a file---how can I change what folder is the default
folder (i.e., the folder that pops up as a first point of access)?

I appreciate your help....thank you very much in advance.

It is up to the program, but this is evidently picking up 'My Music' as
a logical reference. You can change where that is pointing; Use TweakUI
- one of the XP Powertoys from (if you have installed XP SP1)
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/powertoys.asp

If you have not installed SP1, the earlier version can be found at
http://download.microsoft.com/download/whistler/Install/2/WXP/EN-US/TweakUiPowertoySetup.exe

Once installed you will find it in Start - All Programs - Powertoys for
Windows XP

Its My Computer - Special Folders page, look in the drop down for My
Music and Change location to point to the top level of the folders of
interest on the other drive.
