Changing the color of WE-IE toolbar

Carlos

Dear all,

Is there any registry tweak in Windows XP that can change Windows Explorer
and Internet Explorer tool bar and menu bar color?

It cannot be done with Desktop properties>Appearence>Advanced>3D Objects
and changing the color. (This only works with old apps like Microsoft Office
2000
and Corel Draw 10)

Thanks for any info,
Carlos.

You can also use the Microsoft IE Wallpaper - get it from the following link

www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/previous/webaccess/tbwlpapr.mspx

This will allow you to put any bitmap you want into the toolbar - not just a
colour. I use it all the time.

Note: This will now work with the new IE7 as I think it is to use the new
Aero glass, so does not allow anything other than what Microsoft gives you.

Terribly sorry! I had put in a typo in my post.
It was supposed to say that 'Note: This will NOT work with the new IE7'
rather than 'Note: This will now work..."

Sorry about the mistake.
