Changing the Backgroung Color has no effect.

The problem is related to the Custom Color Settings in Internet Explorer 6.

I try to set the custom color settings in IE6:

1. - in the main menu: "Tools" - "Internet Options" - (General) - "Colors"
change the Background Color to BLACK and Text Color to WHITE.
2. - in the main menu: "Tools" - "Internet Options" - (General) -
"Accessibility" mark the Check Box "Ignore colors specified on Web Pages".

Unfortunately the only Text Color changes has effect. Changing in Backgroung
color to the BLACK has no effect as expected.

This bug occures only after installing SP2. There was no problem with SP1
where Custom Colors Settins works correct.

Does this happen on all web pages?
Also' Ignore Colors Specified on Web Pages' disables all 'background' style
attributes, even images except for the body tag so if page coloring is done
with a background image in the body tag, this setting in IE will have no
effect..
Another consideration is the User Stylesheet (if enabled).
I use a test page with only html tags and no styling whatsoever and have no
problem with your described symptom.
The XP version of IE6 may be a different beast. There are behavioral
differences between the two (as far as style rendering)
