Changing screen resolution

Hello,

At the moment we have a company standard of all the machines running at a
resolution of 800x600, however these machines are spread over 100 sites and
would be a labourious task to manually change all these screen resolutions.

Is there a way using GPO's to change the screen size of a computer? all out
machines are running either Windows 2000 or Windows XP and are running on
Windows 2003 AD.

The first question is why have such a fascist standard as a policy? I
would go absolutely NUTS if I had to work on a screen at that low a
resolution. Why not just let the user set the resolution to fit their
needs? Maybe that's why I've never seen a policy that allows screen
resolutions to be enforced.
