Hello,

I have an AD controller installed with Exchange 2000 which
located in the DMZ zone using public ip range and now we
are planning to move this server to Private LAN using
Private ip. Will the AD have any problems running after we
change the IP from public to private ip. Appreciate yr
help ASAP.

If you are not using scavenging in your DNS forward lookup zone that the
domain uses then you will need to manually remove (delete) the DNS records
(A and SRVs).

After changing the IP(s) on the DC and moving it make sure that the new DNS
records are dynamically registered. This can be done by stopping and then
restarting the NETLOGON service, the IPCONFIG /REGISTERDNS command at a
prompt, or a reboot (similar to restarting NETLOGON).
