Changing My Documents path questions

I have been researching how to change the My Documents path and am pretty
sure that's what I need to do. I have installed a second and much larger
hard drive on my computer and have moved all my personal files to it.
Unfortunately, all users of my computer can access all my personal files. So
my question is:

if I redirect the My Documents folder to a different drive, will other users
be able to see my personal My Documents folder with their login?

Hello,

I recommend that you try it. If users are able to see your files, just set
the permissions so that you are the only one who may open/edit/etc. them
(right-click your personal folder -> Properties -> tab "Security").

You move My Documents by selecting properties > Move
Every one else will be able to access the docs, if on another drive, or no
longer under you username
