Changing my config.NT file

Hi.
I need to change my config.NT file to run some old software. The only
reference to config.NT on my PC is two notepad files in the system32 folder.
Both of these are just full of info with all REM headings to them. Surely
neither of these is my config.NT file. Can anyone tell me where this file may
be? Thanks !

C:\WINDOWS\repair\config.nt
and
C:\WINDOWS\system32\CONFIG.NT

The only stuff that isn't REMMED in mine...

dos=high, umb
device=%SystemRoot%\system32\himem.sys
files=40
