I am currently running IE 6.00.2800 xpsp2 in Win XP Pro.
Here's the question (which I couldn't find the answer to in the Microsoft
Knowledge database): how do I change IE helper applications? I was using
Adobe Acrobat Reader 6.0 for reading .pdf files. Lately I was able to get
an old copy of Adobe Acrobat 5.0 to install, because I thought I might want
to create several .pdf files. Since installing Acrobat 5.0, it has made
itself the default browser helper application for .pdf documents. This
wouldn't be a problem if I wasn't occasionally getting the warning that
because of the age of Adobe Acrobat 5.0, the document my browser is opening
may not be displayed correctly. I know how to change the file associations
for Windows, but not for IE.
I'd appreciate any help you can offer.
Thanks.
