Changing Default Detail View

I need to change the default Detail view in Windows Vista Feb06 CTP. What I
mean is, for example, I do not want the Keyword column to be displayed at
all and to set the width of the Title column to a wider value; except I want
these settings to propagate throughout the whole OS. How can I achieve that?

Thank you,
Sammy

I want things like you too, including displaying the "Size" column
everywhere. But it doesn't seem possible in this CTP. Explorer may
still miss functions, perhaps we'll have to wait for April CTP.

I also want the size column, for me it's often indispensable and a PITA
having to re-enable it each and every time (even on the same folder).

MS, are you listening???

Right click Keyword > click more > uncheck Keyword and click more. Type in
column width of selected column (in pixels) (I do not know the limit).

Click OK. > Click View (ensure that you have Classic menus enabled) > click
"Customize This Folder..." > click Customize (tab) > click "Also apply this
template to all subfolders".

To enable Classic Menus:
Click "Configure this Explorer's Layout" button the green menu bar, its the
first button to the extreme left > click "Classic Menus".

Yes but the problem with this is that it will also reset folders like
Computer, Documents, Videos, Music etc.
I want to leave these folders alone but only reset the ones that already
have a detail view.

Thank you,
Sammy
