Changing Anti Virus Programs

My McAfee anti virus free trial that came with my new computer is about to
run out. I want to install avg free. Do I intsall AVG and then uninstall
McAfee or vice versa? Thanks.

Hi Boots,
Try to download the AVG on your Desktop then Disconnect from the Internet
and uninstall McAfee Reboot then try to install AVG.

Download AVG, go off line
Uninstall Macafee
Install AVG

along with the other information,. might check the mcafee site for uninstall program.
it is known to leave bits and pieces all over the place.

Try to download the AVG on your Desktop then Disconnect from the Internet
and uninstall McAfee Reboot then try to install AVG.

And when you have loaded AVG remember to hit the update button to make sure
you have everything.

Try using this link for sofware removal tool, go into safe mode w/ networking
and run this removal tool. Should remove all remaining bits of McAfee.
