Have some music files saved using Windows Media Player, with WMA
extension. WMA will not play on my car CD player.

Can I change WMA files to CDA using Windows Media Player? HOW??

Thanks

Ben

I dont know why you want to change the extentions, but... you can just go to burn audio cd in Windows Media Player 9 or 8 (or even 7 but im not sure about that) Or just go to nero or whatever Cd burning software you have and go to burn audio cd. Wma works just like MP3 they should work.

Copied the WMA to CD. The CD will not play in my car CD but plays on my
computer.

Thanks

Burn an "AUDIO" cd, copying the files or making a "DATA" cd will not work
as you have found out.
When you burn MP3s or WMA to an "AUDIO" cd, they are converted on the fly
to the correct format. This is the ONLY way you are going to be able to play
them in a CD player unless it supports "DATA" cds.

Make a playlist in Media Player whose duration when played will fit into
the 70 minute limit for an audio CD, then use the Copy to CD on the left
of Media player. It will convert them to audio format and burn the CD.
Make sure you use a CD-R not RW and you may have to try out more than
one make to find one that works well with the burner *and* the car
player
