Change note space for contact to landscape view?

On the General page for each contact the blank space is one-half a screen
wide on the right. My notes, which I entered with an earlier version of
Outlook, are now squooshed and hard to decipher.

How can I change the space to a landscape view so I can input notes across
the entire width of the screen?
