change default outlook paragraph style for blank stationery

Since the last office patch, outlook now has the default style for the blank
(which really isn't) stationery from Normal to Paragraph. I can't find a way
in the Help section to change this. Suggestions?

There are several posts very similar to this ... which I know as I am having
the same problem! I use Outlook 2002 (not sure if that makes a difference).
Also, when I use a signature, the size and colour of the font changes.

The number of similar posts suggests there is a real problem. Doesn't anyone
have the answer?
