CFGMGR32.dll

I have been using my computer for quite some time now and have only just ran
into this problem! I am trying to use iTunes for Windows and i get this error
message "The application or DLL C:\WINDOWS\system32\CFGMGR32.dll is not a
valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette." I
have asked for help in iTunes forums but ii believe this is more of a windows
problem than iTunes, that being said i am having no problems elsewhere. Any
suggestions anyone??? Please! Thanks Jamie

Hi : more specs on your computer please. XP Home or Pro etc.

To start, update your virus scanner and do a full scan. Your spyware
scanner do the same. I think you will need to run system file checker,
if the Antivirus and Spyware does not find any problems.
Put your XP CD in the drive, open a command prompt and type:
sfc /scannow. Windows checks to see if any critical files are damaged.
If so, SFC will replace them.Try that and let us know.
