cdaengine.dll - wild tangent

I ran Ad-Aware and Spybot and found many spies, many
associated with Wild Tangent (which came loaded with my
HP desktop). I clicked to have all the parasites removed
and when I logged on this morning, I had an error message
saying the "cdaengine.dll" is missing.

Must I fix this - if so how? TQ for info

Another good reason to not buy HP products.

You may be able to restore off the CDs or DVD that came with your system.
You might look at them for a "application" version. There are legitimate
reasons for certain Wild Tangent items on computers. Media Center Edition
systems, for instance, have legitimate Wild Tangent games in the MCE portion
which are not the "spyware" usually referred to by those who don't know.

I also am having the same problem, if you find a

solution, please post it, and If I find one, I will do the
same.......it is very annoying to have the dll error
window pop up every start up....thanks

Some Wild Tangent files are legitimate, and it depends on what official
games have been installed. The Media Center Edition computers, for
instance, feature Wild Tangent games in the MCE superset. You may want to
