cd writing

puzzled

I am using xp pro, when I right click on a folder,
picture etc. I do not have the send to cd option, the
only option I have is send to floppy(A) I have a cd r-
writer and a dvd r-witer, I can burn ok with nero, so its
not that my cd or dvd drives are not working, its just
that I do not have the xp cd writing wizard, I use to be
able to do this ok, I just don't know what I have done to
lose it, when I click on properties of my disk drives it
shows General, autoplay, hardware, sharing and they do not
have the enable cd writing on the drive. I hope this is
clear, please can someone help

Create a shortcut to your cd writer applications and drop it into your
sendto folder or create a short cut to your drives which will in turn
invoke the software you have associated to the insertion of a blank cd and
drop it into the sendto folder.

Installation of Nero has probably turned it of. Installation of InCD or
other 'packet writing' will certainly turn it off - they will fight. If
you have Nero then it will do anything the inbuilt burning will do (and
a lot more) much more economically, and I would leave things as they
are.

If you *do* want to reinstate it, and uninstall InCD, it is turned on in
My Computer. R-click the drive icon, Properties, and on the Recording
page check 'Enable Recording' and click Apply
